The european game science lab is an Erasmus+ Cooperative Partnership project that involves partners from Germany, Italy, Turkey and Lithuania.

The HTW Berlin, short for Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin (HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences), is Berlin’s largest university of applied sciences. It offers over 70 degree programmes in the fields of economics, engineering, computer science, design and culture, leading to bachelor’s, master’s or MBA degrees. The HTW Berlin is characterised by practice-oriented teaching and applied research.

The IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca – Institutions, Markets, Technologies – is a Public University School for Higher Education and Research established in 2005, and one of the seven with a special statute, provided by the Italian university system and recognised by the italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR).

School of Advanced Studies Lucca (IMT Lucca) hosts the GAME Science Research Centre, which promotes research in game science for societal purposes and knowledge transfer.

The University of Florence  (UniFi) is one of the largest research and higher education organisations in Italy, with campuses in various parts of the city. The UniFl hosts the Centro di Ricerca Interdipartimentale Giochi per il Cambiamento Sociale (GiX), which focuses on research in game science for prosocial attitudes and cognitive improvement. 

Bahçeşehir University (BAU) is distinguished by its multicultural student body, which comprises over a thousand scholars from various international backgrounds. The university’s central location and its appeal to a global audience contribute to its internationalisation. The institution’s strategic objectives include the aspiration to assume a leading role in the field of knowledge transfer, whilst concomitantly fostering an environment of respect for human diversity.

LIC is committed to improving international competitiveness through innovative business development. This goal is divided into the improvement of business skills, the acceleration of the commercialisation of advanced sciences and the reduction of risk in the implementation of innovations. LIC has extensive experience in the management and implementation of international projects.

The DE:HIVE at the HTWB is a unique integration of research, teaching and entrepreneurship, with more than 200 students, researchers, founders and teachers working together on the social and artistic perspectives of games. Founded in 2020, the DE:HIVE has already produced successful game companies like Toukana and Randwerk. Students’ projects have won over 50 national and international awards. 

The Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratories (BUG) was established in 2012. It serves as a hub for academics, professionals and enthusiasts in Istanbul’s game development community.
